A Proposed Upscale Multi-Family Living Complex
This site offers information about an upscale apartment complex being considered for north Broken Arrow, just south of Centennial Middle School on Elm and just north of Omaha (51st street). Click here for a site map that shows the “Subject Tract.”
Approval is being sought from the City of Broken Arrow. A comprehensive plan change is needed to accommodate Level 3 density on the 18.5 acre site where the proposed apartments will be built.
In the event the comprehensive plan change is approved, a zoning change will then be required, and a planned unit development (PUD) will need to be submitted by the developer. At the request of the City of Broken Arrow Planning Commission, a draft of said PUD has been provided. However, please know that this is a draft and, inevitably, changes will be made before final submittal to the City, if such is merited.
If the necessary approvals are obtained, the project will be built, owned and managed by The Leinbach Company. It will be designed by Larry C. Kester, architect. The plan is for 278 apartment units on approximately 18 acres. It will be a mix of one and two-bedroom units. Other “upscale” features include:
- 9 foot ceilings (8’ ceilings are much more common)
- Attached garages
- Flat roof (energy efficient; contemporary look)
- Extensive and lush landscaping
- Tennis courts
- Large pool
Although families with children will be welcome, families with children are not the target audience for the project and, as such, there will no playground. For more information about the builder-developer, architect, landowners, or opportunities to learn more, link at the top left of this page.
